About Andrew Gilder

Andrew Gilder is a director of Climate Legal, with more than 20 years’ legal practice experience specialising in climate change, climate finance and development, carbon markets, carbon taxes, and environmental law, policy and governance. His practical experience expands a range of African jurisdictions, including transactional advice to the public and private sectors on carbon market transactions, design and reform. He was responsible for drafting the South African Climate Change Bill, 2018, and has advised on the climate change laws of Zimbabwe and Thailand.
