About Hilary Spilkin

Hilary Spilkin routinely advises private and publicly listed companies on various international legal matters, international corporate and tax structuring of multinational corporations with concentration in the maritime industry and international corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Hilary began her legal career as an Advocate to the Supreme Court of South Africa, litigating in various corporate and tax matters. She has occupied legal consulting positions in offshore tax and trust work and in the financial services, focusing on banking and regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering. Hilary has also held several international corporation Board positions. She has headed the Liberian Corporate Registry and created and headed the OFAC and Sanctions Department of the Ship and Corporate Registry. Hilary advised the Liberian government on legal and corporate matters, and corporate governance.
