About Sezer Yakut

Sezer Yakut is an associate in the international arbitration team at Lexist. He represents states and private clients in energy, construction, infrastructure and investment disputes regarding international treaties and contracts, under institutional arbitration rules, including ICSID, the ICC, SCAI and LCIA. Before joining Lexist, he represented international and domestic banks before the Turkish courts and predominantly provided legal services to trading, telecommunications and media clients. He holds an LLM degree in international commercial law from Cardiff University and actively participates in arbitration-related organisations. He is a member of the Young Arbitration Group of the Turkish Energy Disputes Arbitration Center and is a founding member of the Turkey Chapter of the Energy Arbitration Practitioners Group.
