About Anzhela Makhinova

Anzhela Makhinova focuses on international trade, specialising in anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguard measures, and has represented clients in over 50 trade defence investigations, both in Ukraine and abroad. She has notable experience in advising clients on WTO matters, including representing clients in six WTO disputes, and in advising clients on cross-border trade transactions and contracts, including agency, distribution and franchising. Anzhela is a partner at Sayenko Kharenko and has been engaged in more than 150 trade compliance projects related to sanctions, non-tariff requirements applicable to imports/exports of different projects, product safety, etc. She is a Chair of the international trade working group of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine and a country expert on franchising, distribution and agency in the IDI Project.
