About Juan Carlos Casellas

Juan Carlos Casellas has been at Mayora & Mayora since 2012, focusing on tax counsel and litigation. He became a junior partner in 2016. He has handled highly complex cases in taxation and disputes. He was legal counsel to the Superintendent of the Guatemalan Tax Authority, a full-time researcher in the Tax Law Seminar of the University of Salamanca (Spain) and a consultant to Guatemala’s Constitutional Court. He teaches or has taught tax law at graduate and postgraduate level in various universities.
