About Juan Carlos Foncea

Juan Carlos Foncea specialises in tax law and holds a Master of Advanced Studies in International Tax Law degree from the International Tax Center (ITC) of Leiden University (Netherlands). He focuses on tax maintenance, transactions and counsel of local and foreign entities, and has experience in administrative law and public procurement. He completed an internship at Houthoff Buruma, Amsterdam, as assistant to the Financial Markets Regulation Group and part of the Tax Law Practice Area, where he was in charge of analysing application of fiscal benefits, tax jurisdictions favourable to the creation of corporate structures to diminish tax impact, and the translation of corporate documents.
