About Sarah Demerling

Sarah Demerling is a partner in the corporate, finance, funds and insurance practice in Walkers' Bermuda office. She leads the investment funds practice and co-leads the (re)insurance and ILS practice groups. She has over 20 years' experience and is highly regarded as one of Bermuda's "go-to" fund experts. Sarah works closely with the fintech team in advising on new and innovative blockchain platforms that have a funds and/or insurance-related element and advises on the formation of crypto and tokenised funds. She has extensive experience advising US, Canadian and UK lawyers, major investment managers, banks, (re)insurers and principals on all aspects of Bermuda corporate law, most notably in the asset management and investment funds industry.
