Ingrid Pierce is Walkers' global managing partner and heads the Cayman Investment Funds Group. A leading investment funds lawyer with more than 20 years of experience, she acts for major institutions, asset managers, insurers, re-insurers, trustees and other fiduciaries, as well as banks and trust companies. Aside from advising on the duties and responsibilities of directors and trustees, she advises on indemnities, confidentiality laws, and succession planning for principals and private clients. She has particular expertise advising funds in the management of distress in volatile markets as well as considerable experience in contentious matters, having acted in connection with the acquisition, restructuring and winding down of various high-profile funds.
