About Andrew Barker

Andrew Barker is based in Walkers' Cayman Islands office, where he is a partner in the Global Investment Funds Group. He regularly acts for leading investment managers and private equity sponsors, advising on the structuring and formation of their funds as well as downstream transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions and disposals. An integral part of his practice involves advising on initial public offerings (including SPACs), ongoing matters for Cayman Islands public companies and take-private transactions.
