About Benny Spiewak

Benny Spiewak manages SPLaw, as well as its intellectual property and life science practices. He is an experienced and certified Brazilian attorney and a registered patent agent. He served as the Brazilian representative at the World Intellectual Property Organization’s Intellectual Property Academy. He was a foreign associate at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization’s International Intellectual Property Law and Policy Office. He acted as the Head of the International IP Commission, and as a board member and the General Rapporteur for the Brazilian IP association (ABPI). He acts as the co-ordinator of healthcare compliance academic and certification activities at LEC Legal, Ethics & Compliance. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the International Bar Association, and the Food and Drug Law Industry. Benny frequently advises government agencies, trade associations and private clients on complex interplays between life science, international trade, regulatory law and IP matters. He has been continuously listed as one of Brazil´s top life science and IP practitioners.
