About Anne Mutie

Anne Mutie is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and has more than 15 years’ experience as a practising advocate. Her areas of expertise include corporate and commercial law, technology law, data protection, IP law and corporate training. As an of-counsel at Munyao Muthuma and Kashindi, she supports the development and growth of the firm’s IP technology and data protection practice. Anne has also practised law as in-house counsel for several local and multinational organisations. In the area of data protection, her expertise is focused on data protection audits and privacy compliance, DPIAs, breach incident response planning, international data transfers, the management of data subject rights and other matters set out in the Kenyan Data Protection Act and the GDPR.
