About Lynn Fairclough

Lynn Fairclough is a legal director in Kennedys’ Dublin office. She specialises in defending all types of clinical negligence claims and has represented all parts of the defendant clinical negligence market, including medical malpractice insurers, medical defence organisations and NHS Resolution. Lynn has also acted as advocate on behalf of NHS Trusts at inquests; sat on ethics committees and lectured extensively to members of the medical profession and in-house legal teams on issues of consent, human rights, mental health issues, data protection and record keeping. Lynn has also represented various private healthcare providers in respect of dental, osteopathic and chiropractic injury claims. Lynn also has extensive experience in representing healthcare professionals before their regulatory bodies. She is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL); Royal Society of Medicine; Royal Academy of Medicine, Ireland; and is an honorary member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA).
