About Kum Ju Son

Kum Ju Son is a partner at Yulchon, primarily practicing in information and communications technology (ICT) platforms, antitrust, broadcasting/communication, energy, personal data protection and data-based AI. From 2001-09, Mr Son was a judge of the various courts in Korea. From 2009-16, as a partner at Yulchon in the TMT field, Mr Son served as advisory attorney at the Korea Communications Commission (KCC) and the Ministry of Science and ICT, and represented KT, SKT and other communications and broadcasting operators. Elected to the 20th Korean National Assembly in 2016, Mr Son served four years and returned to TMT practice in 2020.
