About Monica Gamu Makhala

Monica Gamu Makhala holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, obtained from the University of Botswana in 2016. Monica is a duly admitted attorney, notary public and conveyancer and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Botswana. She joined Laurence Khupe Attorneys in 2017 and is currently serving as an associate attorney. Monica has worked in various departments, including litigation, conveyancing and corporate commercial transactions. She currently practises in the corporate commercial department, where her duties include drafting and reviewing contracts and company policies, preparing documents for mergers and acquisitions, legal opinions, performing due diligence exercises and drafting conveyancing documents.
