About Wacef Bentaibi

Wacef Bentaibi is the co-managing partner of Gide Casablanca and head of the public/projects practice. He has been a partner at the Casablanca office since 2016, specialising in project finance (including PPPs, BOTs and concessions) in sectors such as energy, infrastructure and transport (ports, airports, highways, bridges, tramways, etc), acting for governments, sponsors and lenders. He also has extensive experience in all real estate-related aspects of infrastructure, energy and industrial projects in Morocco, and often acts on behalf of international or domestic sponsors on real estate/hospitality developments and large-scale construction projects in Morocco (hospitals, universities, industrial zones hotels and shopping centres). Wacef has also mastered the regulatory and permitting aspects of complex real estate developments and usually assists on public law/town planning issues.
