Omar Alvarado Escobar
is a partner in the competition and intellectual property departments at Díez Canseco Abogados. He holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru, as well as an MSc in Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to joining Díez Canseco, he served in the Peruvian competition authority (Indecopi) and was a senior associate at two large full-service legal firms in Peru and abroad. He has an extensive experience of nearly 15 years in handling competition disputes, merger filings, compliance programmes and providing preemptive advice in these fields. He is also a university professor of unfair competition.
