About Sherif El Hosseny

Sherif El Hosseny is a founding partner of Rizkana & Partners. His practice areas are aviation (mainly aircraft and engine finance and leasing), banking & finance and project finance, general corporate, acquisitions, real estate and hospitality. Sherif has advised numerous Egyptian and multinational leading banks, financial institutions and companies in connection with various high-value syndicated facilities and loans, project finance, settlements of debts and debt restructures. He has also been involved in representing major multinational aircraft leasing companies, financial institutions and export credit agencies in connection with various cross-border transactions relating to the lease, finance and repossession of various aircraft in Egypt and abroad. Before establishing Rizkana & Partners, Sherif spent more than nine years with a leading international law firm in Egypt. Sherif was an active member in the banking & finance and aviation practice groups within the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Sherif joined the said international law firm after several years as an in-house counsel in a private investment company with a diversified business both locally and internationally. Having more than 22 years of experience, Sherif regularly acts as lead lawyer on the transactions he is involved in.
