Joshua Janks is a partner in Bowmans' Cape Town office in the corporate department. He specialises in M&A, private equity, venture capital, banking and finance, fintech and general corporate and commercial law. Joshua advises on public and private M&A, finance transactions, fund formations, and various other corporate and commercial matters in fintech. In addition, his private equity work, including fund formations and acquisitions, also extends to the venture capital space in fintech. Joshua has advised notable fintech entities and investors such as Digital Currency Group on its acquisition of Luno, Tugende Global on its capital raising from global venture capital funds, HDR Cadenza Management on its investment in VALR, and the lead investors in Flutterwave.
