About Manika Brar

Manika Brar is a partner in Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co's Competition Law Practice. She has been involved in numerous domestic and global cartel investigations and handled complicated abuse of dominance cases. On the merger control front, Manika has advised various international and domestic companies on the merger control aspects of creating joint ventures, reorganisations, asset sales, etc. She has made valuable contributions to market intelligence chapters on cartels and leads the Competition practice’s internal learning and development initiatives. She holds an LLM in Corporate Law and M&A from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Philadelphia. She is qualified to practise in India.
