About Shweta Shroff Chopra

Shweta Shroff Chopra is a partner in SAM & Co's competition law practice, and has over 18 years’ experience in advising on financing, corporate and competition law matters. On the merger control front, Shweta has significant experience and has led on various landmark deals, such as Reliance/Future, Holcim/Lafarge, Vodafone/Idea, GE/Alstom, PVR/DT, and Flipkart/Walmart. Shweta is a non-governmental adviser to the International Competition Network (ICN) for India and has worked closely with the Competition Commission of India (CCI) on changes to India’s merger control rules over the years. She has also co-authored several guides on the law of dominance and merger control in India.
