About Amit Singhania

Amit Singhania is a partner in the Tax Practice Group at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas. Prior to joining the firm, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Limited for four years. Amit works very closely on matters pertaining to cross-border investments and the financial services sector. He has finalised structures for inbound investments for Walmart, C-Trip, Idea Cellular, Rabo Bank, Mayfield, Canaan Advisors, Google, BMO Nesbitt Burns, etc. Amit is a customary orator at the Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and has contributed articles on direct taxes in various leading journals and newspapers. He is also a member of the Direct Tax Committee of CII.
