About Laila dos Reis Araujo

Laila dos Reis Araujo has been working in IP for ten years, advising domestic and foreign clients and managing their trade mark portfolio in Brazil and abroad. She is head of the International department of Peduti Advogados, providing strategic consultation for foreign clients in Brazil. Laila has extensive experience on drafting contracts, mainly regarding technology transfer agreements, licensing and franchising, with a strong background in recording these contracts at the Brazilian Trademark and Patent Office (INPI). She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the Federal University of Viçosa and an MBA in Internet Law from the Paulista School of Law – EPD.
