About Toni Barios

Toni Barios is a partner in the markets and financial services group of Cases & Lacambra and leads the financial practice in Spain. He advises financial institutions and companies in financing and debt-restructuring transactions, bilateral and syndicated, domestic and cross-border, including structured finance, corporate and acquisition finance, project finance (real estate, energy, and infrastructures), structuring and perfecting security and intercreditor and inter-lender issues. His practice includes guidance to financial institutions, funds and other non-traditional lenders in debt investment transactions, secondary debt trading, non-performing loan transactions, distressed debt and special situations. He has been personally involved in negotiating the main public and private financing and debt restructuring transactions in the past decade in Spain and handled various cross-border financing transactions involving various countries, including the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, Mexico and Canada.
