About Dr Yung Shin Van Der Sype

Dr Yung Shin Van Der Sype is an associate in Alston & Bird’s privacy, cyber and data strategy team. She focuses her practice on IT law and HR-related matters, including data protection, IT contracts, and corporate security. She is an affiliated senior researcher at the Centre for IT & IP Law (KULeuven) and an editor of the Cyber and Privacy Technology Law Series of the International Encyclopedia of Laws. She is a member of the editorial committee of Privacy Informatie and the Sociaalrechtelijke Kronieken, as well as being a board member of the Vereniging Sociaal Recht and the Belgian Esports Federation.
