About Jan Philipp Meyer

Jan Philipp Meyer was an attorney at law at Vavrovsky Heine Marth in Vienna. He resigned as a partner/attorney-at-law in this company as of 31 December 2021 and founded his own law firm Strasser Haindl Meyer Rechtsanwälte as of 1 January 2022. He is admitted to practise law in Austria and Germany. As a long-term member of the team, Jan Philipp particularly specialises in insurance litigation, in which he acts for various national and international insurers. Jan studied law at the Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, Germany as well as the University of Osnabrück, Germany. He is a member of, among others, the Vienna Bar Association and the Hamburg Bar Association, as well as the ELI Special Interest Groups on Insurance Law and on Digital Law. Jan publishes widely in his field of expertise.
