Johannes Landbrecht
sits as an arbitrator and has acted, for more than ten years, as counsel in disputes involving a few thousand dollars to several billion dollars, with a focus on energy and IP-related disputes. The respective proceedings were conducted under all the major arbitration rules, involving more than a dozen legal systems. He has represented a wide variety of clients, including private individuals, state-owned enterprises, and Fortune 500 companies. Johannes is a member of ASA, DIS, ICC YAF, ICDR Y&I, YAAP, LCIA’s YIAG, and YSIAC. He was a regional co-ordinator for DIS40 in Switzerland and is admitted to the Bar in Germany, Switzerland, and England & Wales (barrister). Johannes teaches at university level and regularly speaks and publishes on arbitration and dispute-related topics.
