About Frédéric Scanvic
Frédéric Scanvic
has broad experience in public and environmental law. Previously, he held positions at the French Constitutional and Administrative Supreme Court, then in the public sector as cabinet director in the Ministry of Culture before becoming its managing director (where he supervised the legal department and was responsible for the development of a legal framework for IP and copyright law in France), then of the Region Ile-de-France, the Paris regional governmental entity. In the latter capacity, Frédéric supervised, among other things, public contracts and tender offers. He has also worked for Arcelor, the French steel-maker, where he handled matters involving competition law. Frédéric is a member of the Paris Bar.
