About Nuno de Miranda Catanas

Nuno de Miranda Catanas is a founding partner of MC JURIST and heads the corporate transactions and investment projects group. Nuno has been heavily involved in international transactions for 20-plus years, handling corporate and commercial issues. Nuno practised for five years in Macao and Hong Kong and acted as foreign legal consultant in Houston, Texas, for two years, advising petroleum service providers primarily on Angolan law. Nuno is a licensed lawyer in Angola, Portugal and Macao. Since 2002, Nuno has been heavily involved in several high-profile transactions in Angola, with a special emphasis on corporate and investment law in the energy (petroleum and electricity), financial services, real estate and construction sectors.
