About Jonathan Scragg

Jonathan Scragg is a partner at Duncan Cotterill, and former chair of Duncan Cotterill’s partnership and board. He specialises in commercial disputes and has significant experience managing large, complex cases. He regularly appears as counsel in the courts and in mediation and has appeared in the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the High Court, as well as in various specialist tribunals. Jonathan is engaged in a wide range of commercial litigation and disputes work. He is the immediate past president of the New Zealand Insurance Law Association Inc and a member of the Presidential Council of the International Insurance Law Association and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
