Petra Carey
is a partner in Russell McVeagh's competition, antitrust and regulatory and public law practice and has extensive experience advising on complex merger, behavioural and regulatory matters for in the UK, Europe and New Zealand. Petra's NZ practice includes advising the full range of matters arising under New Zealand's primary competition law legislation, the Commerce Act 1986, including advising clients on the clearance process for domestic and global M&A transactions, cartel investigations, competition market studies as well as the economic regulation of airports, electricity lines businesses and gas distribution businesses. Petra regularly advises clients which operate in highly regulated environments.
