About Patrick Tumelty

Patrick Tumelty is a senior associate based in Russell McVeagh's Auckland office. He has specialist knowledge in commercial litigation, health and safety, insurance, and professional negligence. Prior to joining Russell McVeagh, Patrick worked in the London office of Herbert Smith Freehills. He has also undertaken a secondment previously with Marsh McLennan in London. Patrick has acted on a wide range of insurance matters, including advising on D&O, professional indemnity, and public liability coverage disputes. He has also advised on D&O policy renewals, including wording for a bespoke D&O policy and structure of a global D&O programme. Patrick regularly contributes to thought leadership for Russell McVeagh and speaks on his specialist areas of knowledge.
