Robert Sheridan
is a partner in Nelson Mullins’ labor and employment practice. His key practice areas are discrimination and harassment; wage-and-hour law compliance; independent contractor and employee classification; reasonable accommodation for disabled employees; employee discipline and terminations; enforcement of non-compete, non-disclosure and other employment-related agreements; advising company executives on terminations, employment negotiations, and other employment issues; misappropriation of trade secrets; and defending clients in employment and business litigation before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, including state fair employment and human rights agencies. Prior to his career in law, Rob worked in investment banking and uses the skills acquired there to provide employment guidance on corporate mergers and acquisitions, and in negotiating and drafting executive employment agreements.
