About Pedro Simões Coelho

Pedro Simões Coelho joined VdA in 1998 and is now head of its investment funds practice and a partner in the banking and finance practice. He is also responsible for the firm's agency and trust practice and is a member of its aviation finance team. Aside from advising, structuring and setting up of collective investment schemes, such as mutual funds and real estate investment funds, infrastructure vehicles, venture capital funds and private equity structures, he has been actively involved in transactions in Portugal and abroad. His experience includes non-performing loans, asset finance, capital markets, retail banking, financial services and securities law. He has also advised fund managers, venture capitalists, brokers, banks and other investment firms on a variety of regulatory issues.
