About Carlos Filipe Couto

Carlos Filipe Couto joined VdA in 2011 and is now a managing associate in its banking and finance practice, where he has been involved in a number of key transactions, particularly with regards to securities issues relating to banking and insurance sectors. He advises asset managers on regulatory and legal issues, including the establishment of collective investment schemes and offers ongoing counsel to the respective fund managers, as well as assists them with the sale and purchase of assets under management and their shares. In addition to providing advice to common representatives and trustees, he has been actively involved in regulatory and contractual matters relating to banking entities, aviation finance and cross-border factoring.
