About Guadalupe Díaz Súnico

Guadalupe Díaz Súnico joined Lener in 2019, having spent more than 15 years practising tax law at Cuatrecasas. She is the head of Lener’s financial and tax practice. Guadalupe adopts a client-oriented, understanding approach towards clients’ needs, and advises companies and private clients, mostly with international elements. Much of her work includes pre-entry planning for high net worth individuals, senior executives and family businesses, structuring their net worth to ensure that their pre-existing structures and financial investments are tax efficient and compliant after migration. She also advises clients on their estate planning via donations or succession, and on complex tax residence matters. Guadalupe is a member of and frequent speaker at international organisations such as the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the International Bar Association (IBA). She presides over the tax law commission of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and teaches International Tax Law at the prestigious ESADE university (English section).
