About Ricardo Maldonado Pinto

Ricardo Maldonado Pinto is a partner at Hexa Legal and specialises in maritime law and oil and gas. He has completed post-graduate studies in France and England, and has been in charge of insurance, maritime, shipping and oil and gas departments at various law firms. Ricardo has negotiated more than 100 charterparties in international operation of bulk and general cargo vessels. He is a member of the UK – Venezuelan law Committee and the Transport Branch of the IB, and is an arbitrator in CEDCA and the current Vice-President of the Venezuelan Branch of the Ibero American Institute of Maritime law. He is also a Professor at the Maritime University of the Caribbean.
