About Reking Chen

Reking Chen is an intellectual property and technology partner in DLA Piper Beijing and has experience across the full spectrum of IP, both contentious and non-contentious. The experience he gained working for international law firms in both Beijing and Cleveland, Ohio, enables him to balance the global and local perspectives to gain the best results for clients, whether they are multinational or local Chinese clients. Reking has advised clients before the administrative IP authorities and the Chinese courts for trade mark, copyright design patent and domain name-related matters. He has also advised multinational companies on various cross-border business transactions, including drafting IP-related agreements, IP audits and drafting distribution agreements. Reking is qualified to practise in California and has also obtained Bar qualifications in China.
