Sean Cope is a senior associate and a real estate and hospitality specialist based in DLA Piper's Dubai office. He advises many leading regional developers, government-owned entities and international investors on some of the most high-profile projects in the GCC. He has particular experience in the hotel sector, including hotel management arrangements, mixed-use development projects and branded residences. Sean has a keen interest in Proptech and has been involved in engaging with a number of major developers in the UAE, all seeking first-mover advantage, on potential real estate tokenisation projects and the regulatory reforms required to make these schemes possible.
