About Johan Sidklev

Johan Sidklev is a partner and disputes specialist, and the head of Roschier's Stockholm disputes group. Johan's primary focus is international arbitration, often concerning energy-related disputes involving parties from Russia or the CIS countries. He has acted as counsel in some of the world's largest arbitrations seated in Stockholm, London and Paris. In the area of investment arbitration, Johan is appointed by the Kingdom of Sweden to the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators and has advised both private investors and various governments as counsel and as chairperson of an arbitral tribunal in an ECT investment dispute between a South European state and a North European investor. Johan has recently served as president of the Swedish Arbitration Association (SAA), and is a current member of the board of the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC).
