About Laura Medina Acosta

Laura Medina Acosta began her professional career at Jiménez Peña, where she currently holds the position of partner and co-leader of the arbitration area. She focuses her professional practice on the areas of litigation and alternative dispute resolution, and labor matters, mainly advising clients in the manufacturing and hotel industries, free zones, telecommunications, and aeronautical services. LAura participated in the drafting of the Law on Commercial Arbitration approved by the Dominican Congress in December 2008. She is currently a member of the Executive Office of the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution of the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce and Production. Laura teaches labour law at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE).
