About Davidson Oturu

Davidson Oturu heads ǼLEX’s fintech, TMT and IP practice groups. He is an expert in advising on cross-border issues relating to IP, ICT, fintech, cybersecurity, digital rights management, data protection and privacy. His regulatory advisory work includes providing legal support to technical advisory groups funded by USAID and DFID that aim at providing high-level support to federal and state government agencies on their public-private partnership (PPP) programmes. He is a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission committee charged with the responsibility of setting up a framework for the use of fintech in Nigeria’s capital markets. He also led the team that drafted the Nigeria Start-up Bill.
