About Andrés Lowenthal

Andrés Lowenthal has significant expertise in financing, banking and commercial agreements, with a special emphasis on corporate finance and M&A in the commercial, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors. He has also advised financial institutions in complex project finance deals, including the financing of several hydroelectric and mining projects. Andrés has acted as local counsel in bond offerings in the international capital market, and has vast experience in structuring, co-ordinating and closing commercial and financial transactions involving the USA and several countries of Latin America.  He is admitted to practise in Guatemala and New York, and is well acquainted with the common law system, as well as the agreements related to cross-border transactions governed by foreign laws that involve foreign clients and international law firms.
