About Victoria Demarchi

Victoria Demarchi is an associate in BMAJ’s international and domestic arbitration practice area. Her practice focuses on international arbitration, commercial and investor-state disputes, and domestic arbitration. She has advised in multiple cases under ICC, ICSID and CAM Santiago rules, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations, both nationally and internationally. She has particular expertise in matters of dispute resolution in the areas of energy and natural resources, construction, advertisement, media, retail, insurance and conflicts between shareholders. Demarchi is a Fulbright Scholar and holds an LLM from Columbia Law School (2018), and previously worked as an international associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, New York (2018–19). She is a professor of private law at the Universidad de Chile.
