William H Taft V is a partner in the Litigation Department of Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York. His practice focuses on international commercial disputes and corporate governance litigation. Mr Taft regularly acts for clients in cross-border litigation in US courts involving issues such as jurisdiction, foreign discovery and the enforcement of arbitration agreements and awards. He also advises clients in arbitrations and litigations arising from joint venture and partnership agreements. He is a member of the board of directors of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR) and the Federal Bar Council.
