About Sergio Barboza

Sergio Barboza has extensive experience in a wide range of transactional and banking regulatory matters, including the incorporation or acquisitions of financial institutions, the issuance of debt and equity securities, and advising on all aspects of banking supervisory issues. Likewise, Sergio regularly represents financial institutions and corporate borrowers in lending transactions as well as loan restructurings. Sergio is on the board of several companies, particularly financial companies supervised by the Peruvian banking authorities, and shares his practice by teaching Banking Law at Universidad de Lima and other public and private institutions.
