About Michelle Gon

Michelle Gon is a senior attorney with more than three decades of experience in the Greater China markets. Michelle’s practice includes representing clients in complicated and challenging compliance and regulatory matters, including anti-corruption, anti-unfair competition, anti-monopoly, anti-fraud, export control, trade sanctions and corporate governance areas. Her client’s businesses range from pharmaceuticals, medical devices, life sciences and healthcare, to agriculture, food and beverage, cruise lines, manufacturing, semi-conductor manufacturing and hi-tech. Before joining Han Kun, Michelle was a senior partner at other leading international law firms. She also formerly served as the Chief Legal Officer/Vice President of Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC”), and an International Attorney for McDonald’s Corporation, headquartered in Illinois.
