Maria del Pilar Galvis Segura is a founder and directing partner of Galvis & Asociados. Ms Galvis is a bilingual lawyer with a graduate degree in insurance law and diplomas in financial management and international arbitration. She is a renowned arbitrator and practitioner, and has successfully handled more than 100 arbitrations and litigations of key importance, such as class actions and liability claims against banks and financial institutions, and complex insurance cases related to financial lines, professional liability, oil and engineering. She is also an expert in reinsurance matters and is a permanent teacher of insurance law in the most important law schools in the country, in which she has been teaching for the past 25 years.
