About Monica Riva

Monica Riva is a partner in Legance’s intellectual property department. Over a period of 20 years, Monica has garnered experience in all areas of intellectual property, in contentious and non-contentious matters, including patents and SPCs, trade secrets, trade marks, software, pharmaceutical advertising and unfair competition. She advises her clients on the full range of arbitration and litigation issues, including those with international and cross-border implications. Monica also advises on transactional matters, in connection with joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiation of licensing agreements, and technology transfers. She is a member of the editorial team for a leading IP law review in Italy.
