About José Urizar Espinosa

José Urizar Espinosa has vast experience in antitrust law, corporate law, commercial law, M&A, and other subjects. He has advised and represented national and international clients in a variety of sectors and is an expert in drafting commercial contracts and other legal documents, as well as in representing clients in administrative and judicial proceedings. He has been involved in a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters before the Antitrust Authority, as well as in preventative antitrust compliance due diligence processes for some of the most renowned companies in Ecuador. He has an LLM degree in International and European Economic Law from Maastricht University and is a member of the Ecuadorian Bar. Before completing his law degree, José obtained a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
