About Florian Haugeneder

Florian Haugeneder is a founding partner at KNOETZL and the head of the arbitration practice. He has almost 20 years’ experience as counsel and arbitrator under the rules of the major arbitral institutions, including the DIS, ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SCC and VIAC, as well as in international and domestic ad hoc arbitration such as UNCITRAL. Florian is the current president of the Austrian Arbitration Association (ArbAut). He lectures at the University of Vienna and frequently speaks and publishes on international arbitration and investment protection. He received the Teaching Award 2018 of the University of Vienna and has been a member of the ICC Taskforce on “Corruption in Arbitration” since 2019.
